Abstract

The integration of education and upbringing (pedagogical formation) is gaining importance in the 21st century, particularly in the context of holistic child development. This paper examines the conceptual, social, and practical aspects of combining academic learning with value-based upbringing in educational institutions. Drawing on international pedagogical theories and examples from British schools, the research identifies key principles, challenges, and outcomes of this integration. The findings suggest that educational systems emphasizing both knowledge and values produce more socially responsible and emotionally resilient individuals.
