. In modern mechanical engineering and metalworking industries, surface quality determines the overall quality, durability, and service life of the product. Grinding is the main type of finishing, especially for parts requiring high precision and smooth surfaces. In many cases, the grinding process, due to improperly selected tools, modes, or technological parameters, leads to the formation of microcracks, cracks, or stress layers on the metal surface. This reduces the quality of the surface and negatively affects the reliability of the product.
