MACROECONOMIC INDICATORS OF ECONOMIC EQUALITY AND SUSTAINABILITY

Abstract

This paper examines the interplay between macroeconomic indicators and the pursuit of economic equality and sustainability. It investigates how various macroeconomic variables, such as GDP growth, inflation, unemployment rates, income distribution, and environmental indicators, influence and reflect the levels of economic equality and sustainability within a given economy. The study explores the correlations and causal relationships between these indicators, analyzing how policies can be designed to promote both economic equality and environmental sustainability simultaneously. The paper highlights the challenges in achieving these goals and offers potential policy recommendations.
