PRODUCTION OF IRON-BASED COMPOSITE BEARINGS FROM WASTE MATERIALS
Keywords:
Iron-based composites, bearings, waste materials, sustainability, sintering, mechanical propertiesAbstract
This study investigates the feasibility of producing iron-based composite bearings using industrial waste materials. Following the IMRAD structure, we evaluate the mechanical properties, wear resistance, and production efficiency of the composites. The results indicate that utilizing waste materials not only reduces production costs but also contributes to sustainable manufacturing practices. Optimized sintering processes and material compositions lead to enhanced bearing performance, demonstrating the viability of this approach.
