Chromium coating of mining excavator teeth is an effective way to increase their wear resistance and extend their service life. Chrome plating improves the strength of the metal by forming a protective layer against abrasion and corrosion. In this study, the effect of chrome coating on microstructural changes, wear processes and mechanical properties is studied. The results show the possibilities of increasing the wear resistance of excavator teeth and improving technological processes.
