The main technique for metallization in the industry is the method of contact formation using silver metal. However, the high cost of silver metal for making contacts is one of the main issues in the production of inexpensive products such as solar cells. To achieve a lower product price and economic efficiency in production, copper is one of the most convenient alternatives, as copper has similar conductivity to silver and is much cheaper than silver. The technique of using copper as a contact for solar cells in a coating form is actively being studied as a promising approach. Liquefied copper metal is more effective in low-temperature annealing processes because copper is a metal prone to oxidation.
